What does the Free version include?

The Free version offers 5 batch transcriptions (up to 10 voice memos each). Record memos using the iPhone Voice Memos app, import into VoiceTap, and export organized transcripts to Apple Notes. Perfect for trying VoiceTap risk-free!

What do Pro users get?

Pro users unlock unlimited batch transcriptions (up to 20 voice memos each).

Our AI cleans transcripts (e.g., removes “um”) and organizes them into custom categories like Work, Family, Mindset, and Tasks. Export to Apple Notes seamlessly.

How much does Pro cost?

Pro is $9.99/month or $99.99/year (a 20% savings, equivalent to $8.33/month).

Both plans include a 14-day free trial, so you can try Pro risk-free. Manage subscriptions via your Apple ID.

How does the 14-day free trial work?

New Pro subscribers get 14 days free (monthly or annual plan).

After the trial, your subscription auto-renews at $9.99/month or $99.99/year unless canceled 24 hours before the period ends. No charges during the trial.

How do I record and organize voice memos?

Record in the iPhone Voice Memos app (e.g., “Work, new project idea”).

Import into VoiceTap with one tap.

Our AI transcribes and organizes into categories (Pro: custom tags like Work, Mindset).

What categories can I use for organization?

Pro users can create custom categories (e.g., Work, Family, Mindset, Tasks).

Start memos with a keyword tag (e.g., “Task, Call Brian about the new project.”), and VoiceTap’s AI sorts them automatically.

Free users do not get the ability to create custom categories.

Can I export my transcripts?

Yes! Free and Pro users can export transcripts to Apple Notes in a single file, sorted by category. Review, delegate, and gain traction towards your goals.

What happens to my data?

Voice memos and transcripts are stored locally on your iPhone or in Apple Notes (your control). We use Apple SpeechKit and OpenAI API for transcription and cleaning (Pro), per their privacy policies. See our Privacy Policy at voicetap.app/privacy for details.

How do I manage or cancel my subscription?

Manage subscriptions in your Apple ID settings:
Open Settings > [Your Name] > Payment & Subscriptions.

Select VoiceTap, adjust plan (monthly/annual), or cancel.
Cancellation takes effect at the billing period’s end. No refunds for partial periods, per our Terms of Use at voicetap.app/terms.

Is VoiceTap available on Android?

VoiceTap is currently iOS-only. We’re exploring Android —stay tuned on voicetap.app or @VoiceTapApp on X.
